Inner city Calgary is a different way of living. Instead of a long commute and a big-box parking lot, it's a fifteen-minute walk to your morning coffee, dinner, the river pathway, and the office. These are the established communities ringing downtown, roughly bounded by the Bow River, Glenmore Trail, and 14th Street on either side, defined by walkability, mature trees, architectural character, and quick access to everything the core has to offer. I don't just work here; I live here, in Ramsay, and the inner city is where my heart is. Calgary's oldest neighbourhood, and one of its most creative. The 9th Avenue main street is lined with galleries, live music, craft breweries, and independent shops, with the Bow River and Calgary Zoo right at its edge. The planned Green Line LRT at Ramsay/Inglewood promises to make it even more connected.

Prices span a wide range, from around $400,000 for condos to over $1 million for detached homes in premium areas, so knowing where the value is takes genuine local familiarity.
